St. Ann's College Celebrates College Day "Avensis-2K25" with Enthralling Cultural Programs

The College Day celebration, "Avensis-2K25," was held with a vibrant display of cultural programs at the Vivekananda Memorial Auditorium of our college. The event was organized under the esteemed leadership of College Chairman, Shri C. A. George Kurian Parackal, who presided over the function. The inauguration was graced by the Municipal Chairman, Shri Shijo Paul, who inaugurated the event with a heartfelt speech.

The Principal, Captain/Dr. M. K. Ramachandran, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, setting a positive tone for the event. The function also saw inspiring speeches from Municipal Public Works Standing Committee Chairperson, Smt. Luxi Joy, and Education Standing Committee Chairperson, Smt. Jitha Shijoy, among others.

The cultural programs, which began with a traditional 'Rangapooja' (Opening Ritual), captivated the audience and concluded with a lively musical event presented by DJ Manu. Students showcased their talents through various performances, bringing the auditorium alive with energy.

As part of the celebrations, the Principal, Captain/Dr. M. K. Ramachandran, presented Excellence Awards to the outstanding students who achieved remarkable success during the 2022-25 academic years.

The event also featured speeches from Nodal Officer, Lieutenant Ashna Gopal, and General Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Ambili Gopal, who shared their thoughts on the importance of education and student growth. NSS Program Officer, Asst. Prof. Aravindakshan Kunji, Staff Secretary, Asst. Prof. Rashmi Mol A. R., Union General Secretary, Shri Sachu Saji, Vice Chairperson, Kumari Joshma P. J., UUC Member, Kumari Aleena Rose Binoy, and Magazine Editor, Shri Jacob J. Kallukaran, also played pivotal roles in guiding and leading the successful event.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by the Chairperson, Edwin Jason, who expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to making the event a grand success.

The event left everyone with a sense of pride, joy, and admiration for the cultural diversity and academic excellence displayed by the students of our college.
